Not A Great Start To The New Year!

And a Happy New Year to you all, I trust 2005 will bring all the prosperity we enjoyed in 2004.

Unfortunately the start to this year has not been great, we have lost 2 of our most effective players. And why? because some people from other clans who dont have anything better to do with their time go on and on about linked players in clans. This and other horseh*t as a way to occupy their isolated little minds. The funniest thing is too, most of the people I'm pulling up here have linked players in their own clan, WTF?

Anyway our beloved Dutchies Japie and Godspeed are no longer (BRBR), they have gone to focuss on taking over the world with |TU, a decision I can understand in part because the |TU squad on paper would be said to be a fair bit stronger than the (BRBR) squad. On the flipside though, they have left the true joy that is The Riot! That's the bit I dont really get. Still it is completely up to any member to move onto other things, and I'd like to thank Jap n God for their great effort in getting the clan to where we are today, I have many fond memories of TS and wars, so good luck and remember The Riot Will Never Leave U Even If U Leave It!

Anyway I have also decided since this has come about (2 members feeling forced to leave because of pressure surrounding linking), and the fact that I feel a rule may be implemented soon to prevent player linking (especially if fartcall and the other parasites keep on about it) that from now on we dont have any other linked players. SO guys n gals if you're currently linked to any other clans I am asking you to stay (BRBR) only, discuss with me on TS and we'll take it form there with a view to no linked players by the end of January. I guess there's some strong views in this article and a few fierce strikes towards other clan's views, but I've had enough of this ever emerging opinion of certain sections of the community that (BRBR) would never be where they are without 2 linked Dutch players. We have done it on hard work and merit, and anyway the linked payers in question were recruited the usual way not pinched from other clans, and were also part of our own community before they even tried out for The Riot.

With all the serious stuff outta the way, I'd like to thank the squad for an outstanding performance in the CB funwar against ]UNC[ last night, a strong score 11-1 and quality shootin all round. Let's get focussed on this year my friends, good times, good laughs, good trainin, good luck and Amraggeddon in Aviemore!!!!!!
