It is my pleasure to inform those of you who don't yet know that our longest serving flag runner, seriously laid back and good friend to all Mr Slata has a new addition to his family. Yep, Mrs Slatz brought this wonderful wee bundle of joy (Bella Rose) into the world at 03.31, weighing 7lb 13oz after a hefty 5.5 hour labour. Initial texts from the Slata camp are revealing that all is well, so I'd just like to say a huge CONGRATULATIONS! from everyone here at Ice Station Zebra and wish the whole family many long, prosperous and fun filled years together. This is our 3rd Pimpchild after Buckie and Rangi's earlier arrivals and once again it feels great to have such fine news filter down the wire.
I hope all will join in passing their congrats to Slata and his family, and as he put it so well on msn last night "see you in 18 years Rothy". Your space will be here whenever you return my friend!
